Collector's Dugout ("the app", "we") helps you list trading cards on eBay. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. The short version: we store what's needed to run your listings and sales tracking, we don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.
Information we collect
- Account — your email address (or Apple ID sign-in identifier) and a password hash, used to sign you in.
- Card photos — the pictures you take or import. They're uploaded to our image hosting so they can appear in your eBay listings.
- Listing data — titles, descriptions, prices, conditions, and item details for the cards you list.
- eBay connection — when you connect your eBay account, eBay gives us access tokens. These are stored encrypted on our servers, never on other users' devices, and are used only to act on your behalf (create listings, read your orders).
- Sales history — order and sale records from your eBay account, so the app can show earnings and profit.
- Want-list entries — cards you ask us to watch, and your maximum price.
- Push token — a device token so we can send you notifications you've asked for (like price alerts).
How your data is used
- Card photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to identify the card and draft your listing.
- Photos and listing details are sent to eBay when you publish.
- Sale and order data is fetched from eBay to power your earnings dashboard.
- Want-list searches run against eBay's public listing data to find deals for you.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising. We don't use third-party analytics trackers.
Services we rely on
Your data is processed by these providers, each only for the purpose described: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Vercel (backend hosting), Anthropic (AI card analysis), eBay (listing and order APIs), Apple (sign-in and push notifications), and Expo (push notification delivery).
Data retention & deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, which permanently removes your account, photos, listings data, sales history, and eBay connection from our systems. Listings already live on eBay are not ended by deleting your app account — manage those on eBay.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). eBay tokens are held server-side and never shipped to devices. Access to production systems is restricted.
Children
Collector's Dugout is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and note the new date above.
